TRUSTe apparently isn't. One of their licensees, ReturnMe.com, runs a Web site called eTagit that uses a completely unencrypted registration form, despite what is stated in their privacy policy: "For your safety and peace of mind, all of your online order transactions with ReturnMe.com are encrypted for security." They blew me off, so I reported them to TRUSTe, who, after initially blowing me off, told me they would forward my complaint to the company. That was February 8. At this writing, eTagit's Web site still hasn't been fixed.
